Use the Assessor for property values, record searches, maps, and sales data. The office also handles deferrals, appeal-board work, and exemptions. For deeds and other real-estate records, use the County Clerk. The Clerk also handles elections, marriage licenses, probate files, and property-value appeal-board work. State Circuit Court handles criminal and civil cases and jury duty.
