Know the natural warning before choosing a map. Strong or long shaking, sudden ocean rise or drawdown, or a loud ocean roar can mean a tsunami may follow. During shaking, Drop, Cover, and Hold On. When it stops, walk inland and uphill. Do not wait for an official warning. A local tsunami can arrive within minutes.
